Einführung
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist position at Conservation International in the Asia Pacific region involves leading the development of M&E frameworks, providing technical support to programs, and ensuring progress towards organizational goals. The role focuses on conservation efforts in terrestrial, climate, and ocean conservation, with an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion principles. The ideal candidate will collaborate, innovate, and problem-solve to advance CI's mission and strategy.
Aufgaben
- Lead the creation and implementation of M&E systems to track progress and impact for APFD and APFD country strategies
- Provide direct support to projects when identified as a priority by the APFD regional team
- Oversee regional and national M&E staff if/as identified as a need by programs
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in monitoring and evaluation, social science, or the equivalent analytical discipline
- 7 or more years of work experience with M&E, research programs and initiatives, etc.
- 2 or more years of supervisory experience
- Experience working with different approaches including MEL, MEAL, and MERL
- Experience formulating strategy to achieve M&E goals, developing, and implementing M&E plans, and reporting on progress
- Experience in completing project and program evaluations
- Proven ability to understand, interpret, and apply technical and scientific information and data to achieve tangible results
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Proficient in the use of technology-enabled data systems such as Activity Info (AI) or similar platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, and with good training in project management as well as Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and work well across cultures and within and across organizations
- Fluency in English
