Einführung
The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a Project Manager for the Communications department to work on projects supporting the Foundation's annual plan and strategies. The role involves collaborating with multiple teams and departments, managing cross-team initiatives, and supporting the work of the Communications department. Aufgaben
- Collaborating with the Senior Manager of Program Management and assisting the department’s project managers
- Triaging incoming work requests in Asana and tracking progress
- Creating project roadmaps and negotiating project scopes
- Supporting healthy team dynamics and culture
- Documenting project work and running retros
- Tracking and reporting metrics
- Ensuring team commitments and upholding a culture of belonging
- Helping project teams balance workloads and scope creep
Voraussetzungen
- 2+ years of project management experience
- 2+ years of remote work experience
- Experience with Asana and Google suite
- Strong project management skills
- Familiarity with different communication styles and cultures
- Ability to anticipate risks and influence without authority
- Dependable interpersonal communication skills
- Comfort with ambiguity
