Einführung
Climeworks is a pioneering company dedicated to fighting global warming by removing CO2 from the air through direct air capture technology. They are looking for a Regional Field Engineer to ensure maintenance and repair work is carried out to high standards and compliance with safety regulations. The role involves minimizing downtime, maintaining equipment reliability, keeping detailed records, preparing reports, enforcing quality control measures, and coordinating with external partners.
Aufgaben
- Ensure maintenance and repair work is carried out to a high standard and complies with safety and quality regulations
- Minimize downtime and disruptions to plant operations caused by equipment failures
- Maintain a high level of equipment reliability through proper maintenance practices
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and prepare reports on equipment status and incidents
- Establish and enforce quality control measures, monitor SOPs and processes
- Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers for repair projects
- Initiate and maintain strong relationships with external partners and internal teams
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering)
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in plant operations, commissioning, field service, maintenance, or engineering roles
- Strong understanding of Inspection & Test Planning, project risk, lessons learned, schedule, and management of change
- Organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in developing action plans based on service KPIs
- Background in collaboration with engineering and maintenance
- Strong decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Business fluent in English
- Willingness to travel up to 70%
