KUGU, a green start-up based in Berlin, is seeking a dedicated Senior Backend Engineer to contribute to their mission of making buildings energy efficient and sustainable. The role involves developing high-quality data streaming and analytical software design, owning the product roadmap for IoT products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve products. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of backend software development experience in Scale-Ups, is familiar with data governance, and has in-depth knowledge of tech stack including Kotlin, AWS, Kafka, Rest API design principles, and Spring Framework.
Aufgaben
- Develop high-quality data streaming and analytical software design and architecture
- Identify, prioritize, and execute software development life-cycle tasks to deliver real business impact
- Take ownership of code and ensure alignment with best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve products
Voraussetzungen
- 6+ years of experience in backend software development in Scale-Ups
- Analytical mind with problem-solving attitude
- Familiarity with data governance
- In-depth knowledge of tech stack including Kotlin, AWS, Kafka, Rest API design principles, and Spring Framework
