Senior Backend Engineer (Python)

Aufgaben
- Build and improve the data pipeline and business logic of the assessment engine using Python (Apache Airflow) and PostgreSQL
- Develop the product in collaboration with business and product owners
- Shape the architecture of the product to meet customer needs
- Run tests, deploy releases, and own the running application
- Translate requirements into software specifications
- Collaborate with the Data and Research team on the methodological foundation of the assessment engine
Voraussetzungen
- 3-5 years of backend development experience with Python
- Experience with Airflow, SQL, and SQLAlchemy
- Experience in customer-facing projects, preferably in a B2B SaaS startup
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
- Nice-to-Haves: Advanced knowledge of SQL, experience with Ruby on Rails, Pandas, Numpy, AWS, background in math or statistics
