Einführung
Climeworks is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer (DCS & Controls) to lead commissioning and start-up activities for their direct air capture (DAC) plants. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring seamless transition from Engineering to Operations, maintaining plant availability, and CO2 production. Climeworks is a pioneer in the climate industry, featured as a TIME100 Influential Company and Global Cleantech 100 Company, with a mission to inspire 1 billion people to remove CO2 from the air.
Aufgaben
- Lead DCS & Controls Commissioning & Start-Up activities
- Develop and implement procedures for DCS and PLC control systems
- Maintain plant availability and CO2 / CDR production
- Design, implement, execute, commission, and maintain DCS systems
- Maintain required processes and tools for managing critical process DCS
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
- Expert knowledge of Siemens T3000 DCS
- 6+ years of experience in plant commissioning & Start Up
- Experience in scale-up and/or first-of-its-kind environment
- Proven track record in DCS CSU in process engineering industry
- Experience in DCS & controls engineering design
- Strong coordination, communication, and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Business fluent in English
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and be on-site during CSU period
