Run the full management cycle for engineers in House of Trading, hiring, onboarding, performance, and development., Coach people at all levels and build a team where different perspectives and ways of thinking are genuinely welcomed., Help the team ship with quality., Partner closely with the Trading leads and engineers to keep priorities clear and the team moving., Balance short-term delivery with long-term sustainability, and represent the team in cross-functional forums., Keep a clear picture of the technical health of the area: architecture, quality, and risk., Work with the Staff Engineer to set technical direction and connect it to business outcomes., Ensure the stability of the trading platform, and know when to put reliability before new features., Help engineers shift their focus from writing code to directing, reviewing, and owning the output of agents., Work with Staff Engineers to build team practices for quality, oversight, and good engineering judgment in an agentic world.
