We are a german high-tech company based in Ulm and an innovative manufacturer and developer of energy storage technology. Focusing on innovations in intelligent load management and reliable battery management systems have made BOS energy storage systems and batteries one of the most popular in the caravan and boat industry in Europe. At the same time, our off grid systems provide independence from the poor power grid, diesel gensets and other sources. This has enabled us to reach key markets in rural areas in Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America with insufficient access to modern energy services.
Job description
This is what your work looks like
- Production programme & order control: Planning, scheduling and approval of production orders in Business Central – from simulated to fixed planned/approved orders.
- Ensuring master data quality: Maintenance and continuous improvement of article master data, parts lists and work plans, including versions/statuses.
- Capacity & material planning: Scheduling material requirements, coordinating work centres/workplace groups, calendars and shifts; bottleneck management.
- Shop floor timing & feedback: Coordination of actual reports and consumption postings (material/capacity) and ensuring clean data entry.
- Interface work: Close cooperation with purchasing, warehousing/logistics, production and R&D; synchronisation of delivery dates, stock transfers and external processing.
- Transparency & reporting: Creation and maintenance of planned/actual key figures (adherence to deadlines, throughput time, OEE-related KPIs) and derivation of improvement measures.
- Continuous improvement: Collaboration on the further introduction of BC (testing, training, process design) and on LEAN/CIP initiatives in production.
Profile
In order to keep moving forward
- Successfully completed degree or sound training in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification with a strong commercial understanding
- Several years of professional experience in scheduling/production planning in a manufacturing company.
