SHB Schotterwerke Hohenlohe-Bauland GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1991/92 as a merger of 12 gravel plants in the Hohenlohe-Bauland region. Today, the company operates eight gravel plants where raw materials are extracted and processed. The raw materials consist exclusively of limestone, which comes from the layers of the Muschelkalk.
