Your responsibility
Participation in the research project “CyResNet – Framework and Network for Cyber Resilience in SMEs”, focusing on the development of an SME-oriented Total Information Security Management framework based on TQM principles and the EFQM model
Analysis and evaluation of existing information security standards and cyber resilience frameworks as well as identification and prioritization of SME-specific requirements
Design, modeling, validation, and optimization of a criteria model for assessing, achieving, and continuously improving cyber resilience in SMEs
Derivation and prioritization of suitable organizational, technical, and personnel-related measures as well as design and prototypical development of a digital assistance system
Development and evaluation of a network concept and a collaborative platform, including interviews, workshops, and focus groups with SMEs and other project partners
Contribution to project management, scientific publications, project documentation, practical recommendations, and knowledge-transfer activities for academia and industry
Your profile
Successfully completed scientific university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in industrial engineering, engineering, business information systems, computer science, quality management, or a related field
Solid knowledge of quality management, Total Quality Management, information security management, and cyber resilience
Very good knowledge of the MO²GO software system (Method for Object-Oriented Business Process Optimization)
Knowledge of relevant management models and information security standards, particularly EFQM, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, or comparable frameworks
Experience in analysing, structuring, and prioritising organisational, technical, and personnel-related requirements
Experience with empirical research methods, particularly online surveys, qualitative interviews, focus groups, and the systematic analysis and validation of results

Knowledge of designing criteria models, maturity models, or self-assessment models and deriving and prioritising suitable measures
Experience in the design or prototypical development of digital assistance systems, decision-support systems, or user-oriented software solutions
Knowledge of requirements analysis, process modelling, user-centred design, and the evaluation of digital applications
Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or a comparable programming language and experience with data analysis and prototyping tools
Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration in the fields of cyber resilience, information security, quality management, digital assistance systems, and SME networks desirable
Ability and motivation to conduct academic research, including scientific publications, conference papers, project documentation, and practice-oriented recommendations desirable
Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken (at least C1 level)
Independent, systematic, and responsible working style, combined with strong teamwork, communication, and presentation skills desirable
