From Start-up to Scale-up: Let's tackle it together

CMBlu Energy is evolving from a research-focused start-up to a producing scale-up, on the verge of series production. Around 250 employees at CMBlu Energy are working towards this goal. Our headquarters are in Alzenau near Frankfurt, with a branch in Obernburg. We also have subsidiaries in Athens, Greece, and Petaluma, USA.

Your Tasks

Definition of electrical requirements for power flow, protection, and monitoring components within our battery energy storage and power electronics systems
Derivation of technical requirements from customer specifications, project guidelines, risk analyses, and relevant IEC, EN, and VDE standards, considering mechanical, thermal, software, and system integration requirements
Execution of electrical calculations and analyses, including cable and busbar dimensioning, short-circuit behavior, voltage drop, thermal load, protection coordination, insulation concepts, and fault scenarios
Development and co-design of electrical system architectures for high and low voltage distribution, communication interfaces, protection concepts, fault handling, and system integration
Definition of test and validation requirements, acceptance criteria, and conformity documentation, as well as support during FAT, SAT, certification, and customer release processes
Accompanying customer projects throughout their entire lifecycle, participating in design reviews, FMEAs, risk and hazard analyses, and coordinating electrical tests and commissioning
