Job Description
As a Senior Research Engineer at FUSE-AI, you will work at the intersection of computer vision, medical imaging, real-time software development and robotics. The role focuses on building the perception and navigation components that link preoperative imaging with the real surgical field, enabling precise, image-guided intervention as part of a publicly funded research project.
- Design and development of surgical navigation software, including registration and real-time data processing
- Development of machine learning / deep learning approaches for MRI and other medical imaging domains, from model design to deployment
- Planning, implementation and integration of software components
- Feasibility analyses of problems regarding computer vision, artificial intelligence and robotic assistance, and the development of suitable solution strategies
- Support in the selection and integration of suitable tools, frameworks and technologies to improve our development and deployment
- Systematic evaluation and validation of developed approaches, as well as further development and optimization of our products/projects
