The Working Student Battery Integration supports the Battery Integration Engineer in integrating new battery modules into the STABL BESS systems.
The role contributes to battery testing, technical documentation, data analysis, and the continuous improvement of the battery integration process. The Working Student helps ensure that relevant battery information is complete, test results are traceable, and batteries can be handled safely and consistently throughout the value chain.
The role works closely with Battery Integration, Mechanical Engineering and Testing.
Your mission
Support the technical evaluation and integration of new battery modules.
Prepare, perform, and document battery-related tests under the guidance of the responsible engineer.
Collect, maintain, and analyse battery specifications, test data, certificates, and technical documentation.
Compare battery requirements with STABL system requirements and identify missing information or inconsistencies.
Assist with the preparation of test setups, battery samples, measurement equipment, and test environments.
Analyse measurement data and prepare summaries for engineering reviews.
Contribute to improving battery integration processes, test methods, and technical documentation.
Your profile
Technical Competences
Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Energy Technology, Automotive Engineering, Physics, or a comparable technical field.
Basic understanding of batteries, electrical systems, and measurement technology.
Interest in lithium-ion battery technology and energy storage systems.
Ability to understand technical specifications, datasheets, drawings, and test procedures.
Basic knowledge of data analysis and technical documentation.
Initial experience with Python, CAN communication, or battery test systems is a plus.
Good written and spoken English.
Personal Competences
Structured, careful, and detail-oriented way of working.
Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn.
Analytical thinking and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Ability to document technical work clearly.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
