The Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO) is one of the six leading associations of independent welfare in Germany and a pillar of the welfare state. With over 13,000 facilities and services, around 210,000 employees and approximately 330,000 members, the AWO is involved in all areas of social work and healthcare.
