The Brücke Erding e.V. has been a recognized independent organization for child and youth services in the Erding region and beyond since 1985.[1][2] As an association, it is committed to children, adolescents and young adults in difficult situations by building bridges to themselves, their families, schools, employers and authorities - a guiding principle that puts people at the center.[1][2]
The broad spectrum of activities includes socio-educational measures such as juvenile court and youth welfare, youth social work in schools, open and compulsory all-day schools and open child and youth work.[1] The following should be particularly emphasized:
Through these offers, specialists provide preventive and up-to-date help with issues such as crime, violence or social exclusion in order to ensure (re)integration into society.[4]
The main mission is: to support children and young people in crises, to guide them to a self-responsible and community-oriented life and to guarantee social participation.[2] Core values are equal opportunities, freedom from exclusion and a culture of listening and understanding.[2] The association publicly advocates for young people, is involved in committees and innovatively develops offers in order to react to social changes.[1][2] Certified since 2012 by DEKRA (AZAV-approved), Brücke Erding guarantees the highest quality standards via process descriptions, conferences and continuous further development.[2]
Although explicit sustainability goals are not listed in detail, a sustainable approach is reflected in long-term prevention: programs such as career guidance protect against crime and promote stable life paths.[4] The association cooperates regionally as a reliable partner and has been nominated for its commitment, e.g. for the German Engagement Prize of the Town & Country Foundation.[4][8] As one of the largest youth welfare organizations in the Erding district, it celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2015 and remains a respected player.[7][5]
Brücke Erding e.V. embodies hope and the ability to act: walking paths together, resolving conflicts and developing potential - for an inclusive society.[1][2] With flexible teams and high professionalism, the association supports thousands in their development.[5]
