The Mentor-Stiftung Bremen, founded in 2004 by the Sozialwerk der Freien Christengemeinde Bremen e.V., has set itself the goal of creating a safe and supportive environment in which encounters between people and the relationship with God can grow. The foundation wants to promote relationships that are characterized by mutual acceptance, community, support and help.
The foundation exclusively pursues non-profit, charitable and church purposes. A central project of the Mentor-Stiftung Bremen is the Christian leisure and education center Flambacher Mühle in the Harz. This facility offers class trips, Christian communities, families, socio-educational groups and educational events a place of encounter, learning and well-being in a special atmosphere.
The mission of the Mentor-Stiftung Bremen is to accept people, help them and actively support them. It wants to create places of encounter and joy of life that provide support in an increasingly uncertain world. The foundation is oriented towards Christian values and the idea of charity.
