The Frauenpolitischer Rat Land Brandenburg e.V. (FPR) is a non-profit association of currently 25 women's associations, organizations, clubs, and women's groups from trade unions, churches, and political parties in the state of Brandenburg. As a politically neutral and interdenominational body, the FPR represents more than 300,000 organized women and acts as the political representation of girls and women towards political parties, committees, the state and federal government, and the administration.
The main mission of the FPR is to improve the situation of women in working life, in politics, and in their entire social environment. The FPR advocates for equality and equal opportunities for women and respects the different objectives of the member associations. By representing the interests of women to various committees and organizations, the FPR gives these interests a voice and weight in public[2][5].
