Our non-profit organization based in Berlin, Gewaltfrei in die Zukunft e.V., is committed to supporting women affected by gender-based violence in the context of partnerships through a social innovation. Our feminist approach aims to empower those affected in their own homes and provide them with the means to activate self-determined support through our app in the spirit of self-help. As part of the BMI funding until the end of 2026, we want to focus not only on improving the app and implementing it in several federal states but also on preventive measures.
We pursue a holistic approach in collaboration with network partners close to the respective pilot locations. The pilot project "Gewaltfrei in die Zukunft" is offered as an open service and low-threshold access, as well as a targeted referral to the interdisciplinary support process – involving a coordinated interdisciplinary network.
