IB Baden

The Internationaler Bund (IB) Baden is a versatile and experienced service provider in youth, social and educational work. As part of the IB Group with over 45 years of experience, IB Baden is committed to promoting a self-responsible life for all people, regardless of age, gender, origin, religion or ideology. The guiding principle "Strengthening humanity" forms the basis of all activities.

IB Baden operates in two main business areas: Vocational Training and Social Work.

Vocational Training: IB Baden offers a wide range of measures for career orientation, preparation, training and further education. These include programs such as Career Orientation Programs (BOP), Vocational Preparatory Educational Measures (BvB), Assisted Training and Retraining. A special focus is on the integration of people with special support needs into the labor market. The Carlo Schmid Schulen and the Medizinischen Akademien also belong to IB Baden and offer a variety of school qualifications and training in commercial, socio-pedagogical and medical fields.

Social Work: IB Baden is involved in various areas of social work, including educational assistance, voluntary services, youth social work, childcare and education, migration assistance and open child and youth work. An important focus is on the social and professional integration of people with refugee experience. IB Baden is a recognized language course provider and offers advice and support facilities for people with a migration background.

IB Baden is a provider of comparable facilities according to § 51 SGB IX and works closely with cities, municipalities, youth welfare offices, the Bundesagentur für Arbeit and providers of basic security. The networking of the facilities and the transfer of know-how ensure the success of the offers.

IB Baden is committed to diversity and inclusion and actively promotes the protection and integration of refugees. IB Baden encounters refugees in various fields of action and offers them perspectives.

IB Baden is present in four regions with individual offers and focuses: Nordbaden, Mittelbaden, Ostbaden and Südbaden.
