The Institute of National Anti-Doping Organisations (iNADO) is the international umbrella organization for National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs) and their staff. Based in Bonn, Germany, iNADO operates as a non-profit organization and plays a central role in the global fight against doping in sports.
iNADO's main mission is to promote best anti-doping practices through NADOs and to represent their interests at the international level. The goal is to promote clean sport and protect the integrity of sports. The organization advocates for close collaboration between NADOs and Regional Anti-Doping Organizations (RADOs) to achieve higher standards in the anti-doping field together.
The Governing Board of iNADO consists of up to eight members elected by the membership at the General Assembly for a term of three years. The board members bring extensive experience and expertise in the anti-doping field and contribute to the strategic direction and international fight against doping. Prominent board members include Anders Solheim, CEO of Anti-Doping Norway, and Teemu Japisson, Secretary-General of FINCIS[1].
iNADO is the largest community of anti-doping experts and includes NADOs and RADOs responsible for more than half of all doping samples collected worldwide each year. Members come from all continents and represent a wide range of cultures and organizations[3].
