The Isarkinder München e.V. is a non-profit organization in Munich dedicated to the high-quality care and development of children. Founded by the experienced board members Martina von Dewitz and Margit Werler, who bring over 20 years of expertise in early education, the association combines innovative ideas with proven practice.[1][5][2]
Isarkinder operates daycare centers such as nurseries, kindergartens, preschools and houses for children for age groups from 0 to 6 years (and potentially up to 16 in related structures). Examples include the nursery in Baaderstraße in the Glockenbachviertel with bright rooms and the new facility in Aubing on Ilse-Fehling-Straße with spacious group rooms, garden and S-Bahn connection. Here, children develop their personality in a safe, loving environment.[6][7][3]
The team of 50–99 employees creates open doors, short distances and genuine collaboration. It is looking for dedicated educators who bring creativity, humor and new ideas, supported by flat hierarchies and further training.[2][6]
The Mission is: To create new things together and make childcare more creative, modern and inspiring. With love and respect, Isarkinder promotes the potential of each child so that they grow into a self-confident, responsible and creative person.[1][2]
Core values are Quality, Diversity, Equal Opportunities, Inclusion, Participation and Social Interaction at Eye Level. Open communication, humor and fun are in the foreground - quality without loss of joy. Close partnerships with families ensure security and trust.[1][2][6]
Sustainability is a central pillar: The association is committed to environmentally conscious practices in facilities and pedagogy with heart and mind. This includes sustainable design of rooms, gardens and activities that sensitize children to responsibility. Inclusive programs strengthen participation and diversity, complemented by educational opportunities that contribute to a sustainable society in the long term.[2][1]
Despite its young history, Isarkinder convinces with a strong community: A dedicated team lives values daily, promotes teamwork and self-reflection. The board members emphasize: "Experience, fresh ideas and humor create feel-good environments for young and old." The association invites you to become part of this vision - for children, families and teams.[1][2]
With a focus on pedagogical excellence and modern childcare, Isarkinder positions itself as an innovative partner in Munich. The facilities offer not only care, but inspiring places that awaken creativity and community spirit.[4][7]
