The Justus Brinckmann Gesellschaft e.V., founded in 1886, is the circle of friends and a central support organization of the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe (MK&G) in Hamburg. As a fan club, initiator, and ambassador of the MK&G, the society plays a crucial role in promoting and preserving art and culture.
The main mission of the Justus Brinckmann Gesellschaft is to support and promote the MK&G in order to preserve and develop art and craftsmanship. The Justus Brinckmann Gesellschaft is part of the "Cultural Friendships" network in Hamburg, which includes other cultural support associations such as the Thalia Freunde, the Freundeskreis Elbphilharmonie + Laeiszhalle e.V., and the Denkmalverein Hamburg.
