The Koblenzer Hospizverein e. V., founded in 1991, is a non-profit and charitable organization dedicated to accompanying and supporting seriously ill and dying people of all ages and their relatives in the Koblenz region. The association considers dying as part of life and is committed to a dignified design of the last phase of life.
The association's core services include outpatient hospice support, specialized outpatient palliative care (SAPV) for adults, and an outpatient children's and youth hospice with specialized palliative care for children and adolescents (PalliaKids). In cooperation with the inpatient Hospiz St. Martin, inpatient care is also offered.
The Koblenzer Hospizverein e. V. is involved in bereavement support for adults as well as for children and adolescents. Another focus is on the training and further education of volunteer hospice workers and the implementation of educational programs for the population, including "Last Aid Courses" and the "Hospice Goes to School" project.
The association is supported by a strong team of full-time professionals and dedicated volunteers. The multi-professional teams work closely with doctors, nursing services and other institutions to ensure comprehensive and individual care.
The Koblenzer Hospizverein e. V. is financed by membership fees, donations and public grants. It offers various ways of support, including monetary donations, occasion donations and the possibility of sustainable support through inheritance, bequest or donation.
The association supports the Charta for the care of seriously ill and dying people in Germany and is committed to spreading the hospice idea in society.
