Kinderintensivpflege Ambulant des HTZ gGmbH

The Ambulanter Fachdienst des HTZ gGmbH (AFH) is a subsidiary of the Heilpädagogisch-Therapeutischen Zentrums gGmbH. The AFH is committed to enabling children and people with disabilities to live self-determined lives and participate in society. The guiding principle "Every child is different and has the right to belong" is at the heart of this.

The AFH is divided into three core areas: the Family Support Service, the Specialist Service for Integrative Education and the remedial education advice in daycare centers.

The Family Support Service supports families with disabled relatives through care measures. The aim is to relieve the families of the burden of care and to give family members the opportunity to participate in social, cultural and political life. At the same time, the service promotes the independence and autonomy of the people being cared for outside the parental home. The offer includes leisure groups for children, adolescents and adults, holiday camps, weekend care, workshops and outpatient care.

The Specialist Service for Integrative Education supports children with special educational needs in daycare centers and schools. It advises parents and institutions and supports the integration of children into their everyday lives.

The Remedial Education Advice in Daycare Centers offers educators on-site advice on topics such as developmental delays, behavioral problems and disabilities. The aim is to supplement the pedagogical work from a remedial education perspective and to promote inclusion in everyday group life. The advice includes the discussion of questions about diagnostics, therapies, help for the daycare center and the stay or change to another institution. An important component is the strengthening of the educational partnership with the parents.

The AFH attaches great importance to the fact that everyone has the opportunity to be themselves and to develop their individual skills. The AFH's offers are designed to promote the self-determination and participation of people with disabilities and to support families.
