The LKB represents the interests of its member hospitals to the state government, health insurance companies and other actors in the healthcare system. It is committed to fair framework conditions, adequate funding and the further development of the hospital landscape in Brandenburg.
A central concern of the LKB is the promotion of quality and patient safety in hospitals. It supports its members in the implementation of quality management measures and compliance with standards. In addition, it is committed to the training and further education of specialists in the healthcare sector in order to guarantee competent and needs-based care.
The LKB is also committed to digitalization in healthcare and the use of innovations to improve the efficiency and quality of care. It promotes the exchange of BEST PRACTICES and cooperation between hospitals.
