About Wannseeschulen
editThe Wannseeschulen are a non-profit association in Berlin that has been dedicated to education, advanced training and further education in healthcare professions for over 50 years. Founded in 1967, the Wannseeschulen train around 600 people annually in the fields of nursing, physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
The offer includes training as a qualified nurse, nursing assistant, physiotherapist and occupational therapist. In addition, Bachelor's degree programs in "Health Care Studies" and "Bachelor of Science Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy" are offered. The Wannsee-Akademie also offers a wide range of advanced training and further education for specialists in the healthcare sector, including state courses and additional qualifications.
The Wannseeschulen see themselves as social, warm and committed. They value practical training, which is guaranteed through close cooperation with 15 Berlin hospitals and other healthcare facilities. These partnerships enable trainees to gain valuable experience in a real working environment and to optimally prepare for their future careers.
Respect for human rights, dignity and respectful treatment are inextricably linked to care. The Wannseeschulen promote the development of professionally competent, self-confident and team-oriented personalities who carry out their professional activities for the benefit of the individual and society.
