The LVNS stands for a holistic understanding of strong sustainability, based on the 17 global sustainability goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. The values of the association include networking, support, and cooperation, with the aim of promoting a vibrant culture of engagement and open discourse[1].
Since 2022, the LVNS has been a partner for Saxony in the network of Regional Networks for Sustainability Strategies (RENN). This network connects activists from all societal areas to promote sustainable development in the regions and support the implementation of the 17 global sustainability goals[3].
