The
The Lesbenberatung Berlin e.V. is a diverse and committed organization dedicated to supporting and counseling lesbians, bisexual women, trans*, inter*, non-binary, and queer individuals. Our team consists of staff members and interns with various qualifications in social pedagogy, psychology, and therapeutic training. We place great value on the diversity of life experiences and identities within our team, which includes trans* and cis women, trans* men, genderqueer, non-binary individuals, and people with various sexual orientations such as lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, and queer[5].
Our mission is to create a safe and trusting space for LSBTIQ+ individuals where they can openly address all their questions and concerns. We understand lesbian, bisexual, trans*, and inter* identities as positive ways of living that should not be reduced to sexuality and gender. Our work is resource-oriented, client-centered, and queer-feminist in orientation. We advocate for a discrimination-sensitive and intersectional approach that considers the various facets of LSBTIQ+ life worlds, such as migration, disability, age, and skin color[5].
The Lesbenberatung Berlin is a central anchor point for LSBTIQ+ individuals in Berlin, providing support, counseling, and community to enable a self-determined and healthy life.
