The Sächsische Energieagentur - SAENA GmbH is the central state energy agency for Saxony, which functions as a public company of the Free State of Saxony and the Sächsische Aufbaubank (SAB). Since its foundation in 2007, it has pursued the goal of integratively promoting the conservation of natural resources and the preservation of the livelihoods of future generations through active climate protection and increased energy efficiency.
