Schuloase Rheinland e.V. is a provider of Open All-day Schools (OGS) in the Rhineland. The association is committed with heart and competence to the well-being of children and offers a diverse range of care and support for primary school children.

The focus of the work is the child with their individual needs. The offers of Schuloase Rheinland e.V. include after-school care, homework help, a hot lunch and a varied range of working groups (AGs) and holiday activities. The aim is to enable children to spend their free time in a meaningful way and to support them in their development.

Schuloase Rheinland e.V. attaches great importance to close cooperation with the schools, the parents and the pedagogical specialists. A positive learning environment should be created through appreciative and cooperative collaboration, in which the children feel comfortable and can develop.

An important aspect is the professionalization of the ALL-DAY. The association does not separate between school and care, but sees the ALL-DAY as a unit in which education and upbringing go hand in hand. The employees of Schuloase Rheinland e.V. are qualified pedagogical specialists who continuously train and develop themselves.

Schuloase Rheinland e.V. offers the children in the Open ALL-DAY a warm and balanced lunch every day. Eating together is an important component in the context of social education. In an atmosphere that is as familiar as possible, the children should develop and maintain a common eating culture. The "Quality Standards for School Catering" published by the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection serve as a minimum criterion for the compilation of the menus. Families with low incomes have the option of applying for a subsidy for lunch.

The association is always looking for committed people who are enthusiastic about working with children and who would like to get to know the structures and requirements of an open ALL-DAY school.
