Die Stadt Hilden Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH is the management company of the city of Hilden. As such, it is directly or indirectly responsible for the management and development of important subsidiaries, including WGH Wohnungsbaugesellschaft Hilden mbH, Stadt Hilden Holding GmbH (with the Stadthalle Hilden) as well as Stadtwerke Hilden GmbH and its subsidiaries.
Another focus of the company is in the area of sports. The Stadt Hilden Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH operates sports facilities, maintains the sports office for Hilden and is responsible for the new and further development of sports facilities. The aim is to sustainably improve the framework conditions for sports enthusiasts in Hilden and to meet the challenges of a modern sports city.
The company is actively involved in sports promotion, for example through the organization of beginner swimming courses as part of the "NRW kann schwimmen!" project.
