About VITA e.V. Berlin

VITA e.V. Berlin is a traditional association that functions as the origin and umbrella of the VITA group of companies. Since its founding in 1988 by Dr. John N. Weatherly and other experts from the fields of psychiatry and geriatrics, VITA e.V. Berlin has been dedicated to the development and establishment of contemporary models for community-based, outpatient and complementary care for people with mental illnesses, geriatric and gerontopsychiatric needs.

Our Mission:

Under the motto "Outpatient before Inpatient", VITA e.V. Berlin strives to offer people as much independence as possible and as much help as necessary. People are at the center of our attention.

Our Services:

VITA e.V. Berlin offers a wide range of services in various Berlin districts, including:

Therapeutic Living: Residential groups of integration assistance for mentally disabled people who are looking for assisted living in their own living space or in provider apartments.
Assisted Living Arrangements: Offers for gerontopsychiatrically ill people, including outpatient assisted living for people with dementia.
Day Care: Gerontopsychiatric day care facilities for older people in need of care with geriatric and gerontopsychiatric illnesses who live in their own homes.
Outpatient Care: Professional care services are offered in your own home by VITA care – die ambulante Pflege gGmbH.
Social Services: VITA domus Soziale Dienste gGmbH offers support for people in difficult life situations.
Occupational Therapy Offers: ATBA offers day-structuring living with assistance services in residential groups and employment in occupational therapy employment offers as well as additional income for people with mental disabilities.
Holiday Residence: The VITA Ferienresidenz in Neu Kaliß offers vacations in an idyllic location with cozy rooms and apartments.
