editWfB Rhein-Main e.V. is a non-profit organization that has been committed to the participation and inclusion of people with disabilities in the Groß-Gerau district for over 50 years. With a wide range of services in the areas of childhood, housing, work and education, the WfB supports around 900 children, young people and adults.
WfB Rhein-Main e.V. offers a broad spectrum of services, including:
- Daycare centers: Inclusive care and support for children up to primary school age.
- Housing options: Outpatient care up to communal living to enable a self-determined life.
- Workshops: Versatile work and support opportunities in the workshops and with external partners.
- Educational offers: Support for personal development through individual educational measures.
- Day care centers: Practical life assistance for people with high support needs.
- Assisted living: Qualified support for independent living in your own apartment.
WfB Rhein-Main e.V. sees itself as a responsible employer and has signed the Diversity Charter. It promotes an appreciative and prejudice-free working environment in which all employees are welcome with their individual skills and talents. WfB Rhein-Main e.V. actively advocates for the rights of people with disabilities and is committed to fighting hatred and anti-democratic sentiment. It emphasizes the inviolability of the human dignity of all people and calls for active participation in elections to protect a diverse society and democracy.
The social enterprise also includes the inclusion companies Alpha-Service gGmbH and Solvere gGmbH. Alpha-Service specializes in the creation of high-quality nameplates and is based in the vehicle registration office in Rüsselsheim. Solvere is a recognized workshop for people with mental disabilities and is also based in Rüsselsheim.
WfB Rhein-Main e.V. strives to promote the vocational training of people with disabilities and is committed to the recognition of the skills acquired in workshops in the Vocational Training Act. The aim is to facilitate the transition to the general labor market and to create an inclusive training and labor market.
WfB Rhein-Main e.V. is committed to the equality of people with and without disabilities and demands an equally long entitlement to vocational qualification and education for people with disabilities in workshops.
WfB Rhein-Main e.V. is an important player in the Rhein-Main region and makes a valuable contribution to the inclusion and participation of people with disabilities.
