Einführung
Join our team as a Project Manager (all genders) for Policy Influencing, where you will develop and implement strategies to influence public policy on key themes.
Aufgaben
- Develop and implement a policy influencing strategy within a major program
- Collect evidence from country programming to form policy recommendations
- Build and maintain relationships with policymakers and stakeholders
- Provide expert advice on advocacy opportunities and challenges
- Lead the creation of policy positions and initiatives
- Organize events for policy influencing
- Ensure integration into the program and organization
- Co-responsible for the development of internal strategies and reports
- Manage and report on the budget with finance team support
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of advocacy strategies
Voraussetzungen
- Master degree in Peace and Conflict Studies, Political Science, International Relations or similar
- 4+ years relevant work experience in project management
- 4+ years of experience with policy influencing/advocacy for non-profits
- Experience in remote communication & cooperation with in-country teams
- Some experience in MEL and adaptive programming
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team under time pressure
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Agile mindset
- Excellent verbal and written language skills in English; other languages are an asset
- Professional skills in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Teams)
