Secure battery supply across multiple categories: new batteries from battery OEMs, used batteries, and surplus/oversupply stock., Work closely with sales operations, legal, and finance to ensure sourced batteries are tradeable, bankable, and fit for customer requirements., Combine sourcing/origination, market intelligence, and deal execution., Build a sourcing strategy by category (new, used, surplus cells/modules/packs)., Identify and approach supply partners and map decision-makers., Create a qualified supply pipeline with clear attributes (chemistry, form factor, volumes, timing, location, documentation, constraints)., Maintain structured tracking in CRM/sourcing tools., Qualify supply streams for technical suitability and commercial viability., Coordinate with internal teams to define acceptance criteria and incoming inspection requirements., Assess supplier reliability (capacity, quality processes, consistency of supply)., Lead commercial negotiations (pricing models, minimum volumes, allocation, payment terms, Incoterms, delivery schedules, warranties, returns/claims)., Structure agreements appropriate to each category (framework agreements, spot buys, take-back/offtake agreements)., Collaborate with legal and compliance on contracts, liability allocation, and regulatory constraints., Work with sales operations and logistics to ensure safe, compliant transport and storage., Align supply with sales demand, prioritizing lots that match customer requirements and margin targets., Support issue resolution with suppliers (missing documentation, quality deviations, delivery delays)., Monitor market pricing and availability across categories., Track regulatory changes impacting used battery movement, battery passports, and cross-border logistics., Provide sourcing insights to guide product strategy and sales positioning.
