Providing individual and group services to meet the developmental, social and emotional needs of our children / students of our school by advising, supporting and encouraging them, Working together with the children / students to enhance their resourcefulness, productivity, competencies and interpersonal, decision-making and conflict-resolution skills, Teaching social emotional strategies in class, Strengthening children's / students' own unique capabilities while guiding them as they discover and develop interests and abilities, Assisting children / students in meeting their personal potential while meeting the standards set by Leipzig International School, Providing interventions for children / students to maximise their learning and support them, as they adjust to new situations, Developing and managing Individualised Educational Plans for children / students, Collaborating with educators, teachers and other Student Support Services members on an ongoing basis, Collecting and using data to identify key trends, patterns and needs, Providing professional development for teaching staff, Planning and offering parent workshops as needed
