DevOps/Platform Engineer – Technology Frameworks
We are building the foundational infrastructure that enables our customers to deliver life-saving medical technology. As a DevOps/Platform Engineer within the Technology Frameworks team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining this infrastructure. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to ensure our systems are robust, scalable, and secure, empowering our development teams to innovate and deliver high-quality products.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS).
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimization.
- Ensure the security and compliance of our infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs and provide platform solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices and tooling.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
