In your role as Expert Finance - Accounting (all genders) you will:

Own the end-to-end accounting and General Ledger (GL) closing process for German SPVs, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Manage invoice processing, SG&A reporting, and related-party transactions to support operational and financial performance.
Prepare monthly forecasts, performance analyses, and financial reports for management and development meetings.
Oversee shareholder loan (SHL) accounting, including quarterly interest calculations, accruals, and reporting.
Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and act as the main contact for external auditors.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with several years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
at least 5 years of professional experience in relevant positions
Strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and hands-on experience preparing statutory financial statements and managing year-end audits.
Proven experience leading month-end and quarter-end General Ledger (GL) closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
Solid understanding of SPV accounting, shareholder loan (SHL) management, related-party transactions, and SG&A cost analysis.
