Job Description
The Group Accountant supports the preparation of the consolidated financial statements according to IFRS and ad-hoc financial reports. The role also involves being the contact person for internal and external stakeholders regarding accounting related topics.
- Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements according to IFRS
- Review financials of the group's subsidiaries to ensure uniform accounting and valuation throughout the group
- Preparation of (ad-hoc) financial reports and financial analysis
- Provide reliable accounting advice to internal and external stakeholders
- Use of consolidation software LucaNet
- Support projects for group-wide standardization and harmonization of group accounting processes
- Support the development and implementation of new processes in group accounting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, accounting, economics, MBA, or industrial engineering with a focus on (group) accounting, financial reporting, finance, or auditing
- 2-5 years of sound professional experience in group accounting, reporting, and consolidation of an internationally oriented company and/or in an auditing firm
- Key technical accounting skills according to IFRS
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
- Practical experience with LucaNet or other consolidation software
- Proficiency in English both written and verbal,German language is a nice to have
