You are studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant subject such as computer science, games engineering, media informatics, electrical engineering and information technology or a related field – or you taught yourself and can show your skills through your own projects. You work confidently with Unity and C# and have ideally already shipped a WebGL build. Working with Git is second nature to you. You work independently, reliably and carefully, you document your work so that others can follow it, and you have an eye for how an application feels to the people using it. Experience with LLM interfaces, prompting or speech input and output is a plus, but not a requirement. You have a confident command of German or English and a good command of the other.
We offer you an attractive and varied role with excellent working conditions in a lively academic environment that is highly diverse and challenging.
You can expect an open and friendly working atmosphere in a small, highly motivated team, an agile mindset and a positive error culture, room for individual development, and meaningful work with an impact on society.
The workplace, with modern co-working facilities at the Hochschule für Politik München, is centrally located directly at Königsplatz in Munich with an underground connection. Your working hours can be arranged flexibly in consultation with the management of the TUM Think Tank. Mobile working is possible within the framework of the internal guidelines.
If we have sparked your interest, please send your application (including a letter of motivation, your current CV, references and two relevant work samples such as a GitHub repository, a playable build or a short video of one of your own projects, your earliest possible start date and the number of hours per week you are looking for) by 20th of October at the latest, preferably by e-mail with the subject line "Student Assistant Demystify—Unity & User Experience" to .
The position is suitable for candidates with severe disabilities. Applicants with severe disabilities (f/m/d) will be given preference if they are otherwise essentially equally qualified, capable and professionally competent. The Hochschule für Politik München seeks to increase the proportion of women. Applications from women are therefore expressly welcome.
