Stellenbeschreibung
The working student inside the GIS-team is supporting the sourcing, maintenance, and provision of geographical data required within BD Germany. The role also includes active involvement in identifying suitable areas for large-scale PV and BESS projects, obtaining landowner information, and creating maps for acquisition and contractual purposes.
- Support GIS-based screenings for large-scale hybrid PV+BESS projects using QGIS, ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online
- Assist with sourcing, maintaining and preparing geographical data
- Support the ordering, processing and provision of landowner and parcel information
- Create and update maps for acquisition, planning and contractual purposes
- Help maintain GIS databases and structure project-related geodata
- Support the preparation of reliable and traceable map material
- Assist with online tools such as ArcGIS Online and the internal CRM system
- Support the GIS team in day-to-day tasks and further GIS-related activities
- Conduct research on publicly available geodata and support data requests from public authorities where required
- take part in assessing and deepening the implementation of AI features for GIS purposes
Qualifikationen
- Enrolled Bachelor’s or Master’s student in geography, geoinformatics, spatial planning, environmental planning, surveying, renewable energies or a related GIS field
