Working Student Vehicle Design & Systems Engineering (m/f/d)
Would you like to apply the technical knowledge you gained in college not just in theory, but also by actively contributing to the development of our vehicles? As a working student (m/f/d) in the Vehicle Design & Systems Engineering department, you’ll support our development team with a wide range of design and technical tasks. You’ll gain exciting insights into vehicle development and have the opportunity to take on responsibility early on – from CAD design to individual subprojects.
YOUR TASKS
You will assist with the design of parts and components in PTC Creo.
You will manage and maintain existing assemblies.
You will create technical drawings in PTC Creo.
You will assist with technical documentation and bill of materials management.
You will assist in coordinating individual subprojects, for example in the areas of tank systems or body panels.
You will assist with vehicle analyses in CAD and using the vehicle system calculation tool (TrailerWin).
You will assist in the procurement of technical components as well as in the selection of and coordination with suitable suppliers.
YOUR PROFILE
You are enrolled in a technical degree program, such as mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable field.
Ideally, you already have technical vocational training or some practical experience in a technical field.
You have some experience with 3D CAD design—knowledge of PTC Creo is a plus.
You are familiar with creating technical drawings and, ideally, have some exposure to GD&T.
You have some experience with technical documentation and creating or maintaining bills of materials.
Ideally, you have already worked with CAD assemblies or in assembly management.
You are passionate about drive systems, automotive engineering, and technical concepts.
You work in a structured, independent, and reliable manner while also being a good communicator.
