Not registered yet, or no voucher yet? Here is howHow to ask for your AVGS voucher
Write to your adviser (Vermittlungsfachkraft) and ask for an AVGS MAT für ein Coaching. Mention your customer number and your goal. You can do this by email, by phone, in the online portal under "Nachricht schreiben" or in person.
The voucher is not automatic. Your adviser decides with you whether a coaching fits. The offer from your first meeting with BeginnerLuft helps with that.
Questions about AVGS coaching
Q1What is AVGS coaching?
+
One-to-one coaching that the Agentur für Arbeit or the Jobcenter pays for with an activation and placement voucher (AVGS). At BeginnerLuft, your personal coach supports you for 8 to 12 weeks. Together you work out which path fits you, sharpen your profile and prepare your applications.
Q2What does the coaching cost me?
+
Nothing with an AVGS voucher. The Agentur für Arbeit or the Jobcenter covers the cost. The first meeting with BeginnerLuft is free too.
Q3Who gets an AVGS voucher?
+
People registered as job-seeking or unemployed at the Agentur für Arbeit or the Jobcenter. You can register as soon as you know your job is ending. The voucher is not automatic: your placement officer decides with you whether coaching fits.
Q4How do I find the right coach?
+
BeginnerLuft picks your coach by goal, field and way of working, from over 40 coaches from HR, NGOs, research, tech and more. You meet your coach before you start, with no commitment.
Q5Is the AVGS coaching also available in Berlin?
+
Yes. You do your AVGS coaching in person in Berlin or online from anywhere in Germany. You meet twice a week for 1.5 hours each, for 8 to 12 weeks.
Q6Do I need the voucher for the first meeting?
+
No. You can book the first meeting without a voucher. You should already be registered. You hand in the approved voucher to BeginnerLuft before the coaching starts.
