AVGS voucher: how to get your free coaching
With an AVGS voucher, the Agentur für Arbeit or the Jobcenter pays for your coaching at BeginnerLuft. These are the three steps.
1. Register as job-seeking
Agentur für Arbeit: if you worked and paid into unemployment insurance. Register as job-seeking as soon as you know your job ends. Register as unemployed on your first day without a job at the latest. You can do both online.
Register with the Agentur für ArbeitJobcenter: if you get no or too little unemployment benefit. There you apply for Grundsicherungsgeld, the former Bürgergeld.

Write to your adviser (Vermittlungsfachkraft) and ask for an AVGS MAT für ein Coaching. Mention your customer number and your goal. You can do this by email, by phone, in the online portal under "Nachricht schreiben" or in person.
The voucher is not automatic. Your adviser decides with you whether a coaching fits. The offer from your first meeting with BeginnerLuft helps with that.
