The
Die Arbeitsgemeinschaft selbstständiger Migranten e.V. (ASM) is a non-profit association that is committed to the successful professional integration of migrants in Hamburg. The association was founded in 2007 to support owners of small and micro-enterprises as well as those with a migration background who are willing to start a business.
ASM stands for peaceful coexistence and diversity in society. It respects the dignity of every human being regardless of cultural and social origin. The association promotes the potential of young people with a migration background and supports self-employed migrants in their professional integration.
ASM is committed to sustainable integration through long-term projects such as the IQ Netzwerk Hamburg funding program. The aim is to strengthen those willing to start a business and owners of SMEs with a migration background and to integrate young migrants into dual vocational training. Through cooperation with migrant communities, the exchange about the dual training system is promoted.
ASM works closely with the Jugendberufsagentur to place apprenticeships and promote the participation of refugees in the labor market. The association is also the sponsor of mentoring projects that support women with a migration background.
