SEGEMI, founded in 2015, is a registered association dedicated to promoting mental health in the Hamburg metropolitan region, particularly for people with a background of flight and migration. Our goal is to improve the psychosocial care of these groups within the Hamburg healthcare system.
Our mission is to ensure equal access to support systems in the medical, social, and legal fields. We are committed to ensuring that no one is disadvantaged or favored because of their gender, descent, race, language, homeland and origin, beliefs, or religious or political views[3].
SEGEMI stands for a committed, multidisciplinary community with diverse professional and cultural backgrounds and works tirelessly to build new bridges to promote the mental health of refugees and migrants.
