The AWKV gGmbH is a state-recognized training and further education institution for clinical behavioral therapy. As one of the largest behavioral therapy training institutes in Germany, the AWKV offers a wide range of training and further education courses at its locations in Kassel, Marburg, Friedrichsdorf and Offenbach.

The offer includes training as a Psychological Psychotherapist (PP) and as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist (KJP) with a focus on behavioral therapy. In addition, the AWKV offers additional qualifications in child and adolescent psychotherapy, group psychotherapy and relaxation techniques. Doctors can also complete their additional training in psychotherapy here.

The AWKV values practice-oriented seminars in small groups, modern therapy and seminar rooms, and a professional and friendly training team. Flexible financing models facilitate access to training.

An important part of the AWKV are the psychotherapeutic training outpatient clinics at the various locations. Here, children, adolescents and adults are treated by psychotherapists in training under supervision. The treatment concepts are based on scientifically recognized behavioral therapy methods, whereby individual treatment plans are drawn up in close cooperation with the patients and their families.
