About Berliner Förderprogramm Künstlerische Forschung
The Berlin Artistic Research Programme was established in 2020 by the Society for Artistic Research in Germany (gkfd) with funding from the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe. Its mission was to support interdisciplinary artistic research and foster dialogue among researching artists in Berlin. By providing space for artistic research outside standard academic frameworks, the initiative recognized the increasing significance of art in knowledge production and societal transfer.
