Women’s Projects BORA e.V. was founded in 1992 as a non-profit organization, with roots in a voluntary feminist initiative that opened the women’s shelter BORA in 1990. The association has developed into a professional provider of social work under the umbrella of the Diakonisches Werk Berlin-Brandenburg-schlesische-Oberlausitz (DWBO).
