The Caritasverband Lahr e.V. is a competent point of contact for people in different life situations - from pregnancy to the need for care. As part of the Catholic Church, the association identifies social needs and develops sustainable solutions to address them.

The Caritasverband Lahr e.V. sees itself as an attractive employer for around 500 employees and offers meaningful fields of activity as well as diverse training opportunities. In addition, the association supports the commitment of over a hundred volunteers.
The association brings people together, works in and with civil society, actively participates in shaping social policy and represents social issues in local committees. Through cooperation with the Catholic Church and other partners, a comprehensive network is created to help people in the region in the best possible way.
The Caritasverband Lahr e.V. is always striving to initiate innovative projects, such as the cooperation project "Be (a) present" between youngcaritas Lahr and the Dekanat Lahr, funded by the pastoral innovation fund of the Erzdiözese Freiburg.
